The “Bart Defoort - Victor Da Costa Quartet” has existed for 20 Years!

Around 2005 they started to work together on a regular basis.

They both share a deep passion for the Music created by all the great Jazz Musicians and Composers from the 1930-'60's who created the timeless musical and improvisational  Language.

The Defoort-Da Costa Quartet takes this legacy as a springboard for their own compositions, their creative improvisations and their musical conversations and explorations.

The repertoire consists of their own compositions , next to the music written by jazz legends, as well as Standards from the American Songbook and Brazilian composers. 

The creative and joyous musical interaction between these four experienced musicians is a great pleasure to see and listen to in real time. So, just sit back and relax, and let yourself be taken along on a trip of swinging Jazz tunes and moving ballads
